We recently enjoyed an all-inclusive, high-end wine tour in Sonoma, visiting some very special wineries and indulging in unique experiences.

Here's a recap of our delightful journey:

Itinerary

Wednesday, Sept. 21 Participants met at SFO and boarded our private VIP Shuttle to Sonoma Valley. We checked into our accommodations in Healdsburg and relaxed. In the evening, we enjoyed a private Welcome Happy Hour reception at Hotel Healdsburg, followed by dinner at Campo Fina, an Italian restaurant with a Bocce court.

Thursday, Sept. 22 Cyclists enjoyed a guided ride through Dry Creek Road wine country, while non-cyclists relaxed and explored Healdsburg. We had a shuttle pick-up for a winery lunch at Comstock Winery, featuring a 4-course gourmet wine and grilled cheese sandwich tasting. The afternoon included visits to two boutique wineries in the Dry Creek Area. We returned to our accommodations to relax, followed by Happy Hour at Duke’s Spirited Cocktails, and ended the day with dinner at Dry Creek Kitchen.

Friday, Sept. 23 Cyclists explored Alexander Valley wine country, while non-cyclists enjoyed Healdsburg. We had a shuttle pick-up for lunch at Francis Ford Coppola Winery, followed by visits to two boutique wineries in Alexander Valley. The evening included relaxation at our accommodations, dinner at Barn Diva, and a pub crawl in Healdsburg.

Saturday, Sept. 24 There was an optional cycling ride in Russian River wine country, while non-cyclists relaxed. We then took a shuttle to Sonoma Town for lunch at Three Sticks Adobe Winery and enjoyed free time to explore Sonoma Village. The afternoon included visits to two boutique wineries in the Sonoma Town area. We returned to our accommodations to relax, followed by dinner at The Matheson Restaurant and a final night celebration with a pub crawl in Healdsburg.

Sunday, Sept. 25 There was an optional short cycling ride in Geyserville wine country. We returned our bikes and packed up. After checking out of the hotel, we had a Farewell Celebration Brunch at Seghesio Family Vineyards. We then departed by shuttle to SFO Airport for our flights back to YYC and YYZ.
